Return trip to Stone Age
Especially for children aged 5-12 we will organize in September 2010 together with Try Out four fun workshops.
Workshop 1: Experience the life of the hunebedbuilders.
Have you ever tried to make fire yourself. Do you know how people lived and worked in the Stone Age. Come and experience this in the Hunebed centre. We take you on a journey through the Stone Age, we show you how people lived and worked, we'll tell you everything about the megalithic monuments they have built. We also let you see objects that hunebed - builders used.

Workshop 4: official opening exhibition ‘Retourtje Stone Age’
By now you know a lot about how people lived in the Stone Age. Today you will be tasting what people ate in the Stone Age. During the previous workshops you had already been working with materials they also worked with in the stone age. Your beautiful works are now exhibited in the Hunebed Centre. This exhibition opening we celebrated together with your family. After the exhibition, of course you take your artwork with you home.
Total cost for 4 workshops: € 45, - per person
The workshops include materials
Workshop 2 and 3 take place at Try Out in Borger. The other workshops take place in the Hunebed centre in Borger.

Schoonebeek Tilt-cart Arrangement in the oil fields

The NAM in Schoonebeek is again drilling for oil.
This is a real attraction.
We have designed a special package where you will be welcomed with coffee / tea and a pumpjack point.
A tilt-cart ride along NAM activities, with a well-filled picnic basket.
Returning to the ‘Engeleweij’ we drink a Sip of Oil, play the Oil Board Game and eat foot-stove pot, prepared on  the petroleum cooker.

Back to the Future
A day at ‘De Engelenweij’ is to combine with different combinations / partner programs. Just like a workshop, creations can be made of natural products. A walk through the unspoiled nature with explanations about the flora and fauna, or a Solex tour through the area. All arrangements are tailor-made in consultation depending on the size of the group (from 8-100 people). A unique day at ‘Engelenweij’can not be repeated. Take your partners with you, too.
